SVG College Summit 2025: University of Wyoming’s Dennis Trapani To Serve as Event Chair

Trapani to help craft agenda for annual gathering in Atlanta on May 28-29

Dennis Trapani, Associate Athletic Director, Creative Services for the University of Wyoming will serve as chair of the 2025 SVG College Summit.

As chairman, Trapani will play a critical role in shaping the themes and topics of content within the event’s agenda.

Trapani has been a member of Wyoming Athletics’ digital and video team since 2013 ascending to his current role in 2021. He oversees the day-to-day operations of  the WYO-Vision team and leads all video and production initiatives for the university’s 17 Cowboy and Cowgirl teams. He serves as the lead producer/director for all videoboard shows and streaming/linear broadcasts of Wyoming Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball games. Trapani has overseen the construction and renovation of Wyoming’s central control room, as well as the design, construction, and operation of video boards in War Memorial Stadium (Football), Arena-Auditorium (Basketball) and UniWyo Sports Complex (Volleyball and Wrestling).

Prior to Laramie, Trapani worked at the College of Charleston for four years as the associate director of multimedia. While in Charleston, he helped launch CofC’s mobile production unit. Trapani served as technical director for all CofC Men’s Basketball broadcasts on ESPN3/MyTV Charleston and served as lead producer/director for all other Cougars athletics broadcasts. He began his career at the United States Military Academy at West Point. While at Army, he helped launch the Black Knights’ KnightVision platform and served in various roles in broadcast and creative video creation.
