What Happens When an “AI Twin” of LinkedIn Co-Founder Reid Hoffman Keynotes a Conference?
"Red AI" creator Ben Relles offers a look at how the development came together
Story Highlights
The office of Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn and current partner at Greylock, recently generated an AI digital “twin” of the Silicon Valley investor and entrepreneur.
The video avatar, named “Reid AI”, looks like Reid, sounds like Reid, and is trained on 20 years of content from Reid’s podcasts, his interviews, and the five books he has authored. Reid AI can replicate answers that Reid Hoffman himself would give.
In this special keynote presentation, the project’s creator, Ben Relles – who works with Reid (the real one) – outlines the intricacies of Reid AI’s development and its broader implications for content creation, entertainment, professional dynamics, and societal impact. Relles even interacts with Reid AI as the two of them discuss the industry’s future with AI and what it means specifically for video and creativity.
